LSQ Leçon 1
by cyborg
Vocabulaire français:
- pendaison (f)
- grenouille (f)
La alphabet LSQ:
- Very similar to the ASL alphabet.
- Slight differences in typical production for the following letters: A G M N X
- However, production of these letters would be recognizable/accepted in ASL.
- Accents involve modifications.
- Accent grave (`)
- Accent aigu (´)
- Accent circonflexe (^)
- Cédille (ç)
- Tréma/dieresis (ë, ï, ü)
(Note: I’ll have to find other example videos outlining how the other accents would be handled when fingerspelled.)
Grammaire LSQ:
NOM MON __
NOM FAMILLE MON __
Note that this is different from what is typically seen in ASL where MY NAME __ is acceptable.
Possessives in LSQ are produced with a P-HS as opposed to a CLOSED-5-HS.
